Oral sessions, poster sessions, and thematic workshops
This year’s topic is Mind – Perception – Reality. It aims to focus on one of the central issues of Gestalt psychology and its Italian variant, “experimental phenomenology”: the relationship between the mind and phenomenal reality at the perceptual level – bearing in mind that the conceptualization of reality is a core argument in all domains of psychology.
The conference will therefore focus not solely on perception but on all domains of psychological research, including attention, learning, memory, decision making, reasoning, personality, motivation, emotions, clinical psychology, psychotherapy, and communication. The conference will have a distinctly interdisciplinary character, contributions from psychologists, linguists, philosophers, phenomenologists, anthropologists, psychotherapists and psychoanalysts, educational and social scientists, sports scientists, biologists, physicists, science theorists, and artists are welcome. Last but not least, the conference also aims to reflect on the relevance of Gestalt theory today through contributions that put it in dialogue with other contemporary perspectives.
The conference language is mainly English.
